Katelyn Knuff

Katelyn has been a PhD student in the Finlay Lab since 2014. She currently studies the molecular mechanisms underpinning Salmonella’s ability to create a unique intracellular replicative niche within host cells. Before joining the Finlay lab, Katelyn received a Bachelor of Science with Honours from the University of the Fraser Valley in Cellular and Molecular Genetics in 2013.

Interesting facts: When not in the lab, Katelyn enjoys reading, playing the piano, and baking desserts for her fellow lab mates.
