Kylynda Bauer

Kylynda graduated from Andrews University with a Music BA and Honors Biology BS. She pursued microbiome research as a Systems Biology intern at Harvard University (Turnbaugh Lab) and ORISE Postbaccalaureate Fellow at the US Army Medical Research Institute of Infectious Diseases. Kylynda currently researches the impact of the gut microbiota on brain and behavior, within the context of malnutrition and enteric disease. She is a recipient of the Four-Year Doctoral Fellowship at UBC and a Program Reporter for the Canadian Institute for Advanced Research (CIFAR) Humans and the Microbiome Program.
